This is in no way a representation of the restaurant but a reflection of my time there. Great place and atmosphere and even better food. The tamales are top notch. Way better than your tias

Carlos and staff are great. The fish tacos with rice and beans are delicious. The jalapeños give them a kick. Make sure you get a glass of sweet tea.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rosita’s Mexican Restaurant – Lake Charles I’ve been to Rosita’s four times already, and every visit has been excellent. I’m from Houston, where there are plenty of Mexican restaurants, and I can honestly say Rosita’s stands out—especially for the service. The food is great, full of flavor, and the prices are very affordable. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming, a small place but very comfortable and clean. What really makes the difference is the service. My server, Carlos Ibarra, is outstanding—very attentive, friendly, and always checking to make sure you have everything you need without being intrusive. Every time I come here, they make you feel truly welcome, like a regular, even if you’re from out of town. Great food, great prices, and amazing service. If you’re in Lake Charles, this place is definitely worth stopping by. Highly recommended.

Arrived 30 minutes before closing time. Asked if it was, still ok to sit & eat. They said yes and sat us right away. The owner & her son were very friendly. The owner came by our table & conversed for a bit. Food was very good & did not take long to come out. Ordered flautas, quesobirria, & burrito. All were very good. Definitely rwcommend stopping by for truly authentic mexican food.

Stop looking you’ve found the BEST Mexican restaurant in Sulphur, maybe even in SWLA. Rosita’s is authentic, affordable, and delicious. Our server was kind and attentive, the atmosphere was nice and the food was incredible. We got 2 of the quesibirria tacos and the enchiladas plate to split. Food was fresh, good size portions and the salsa was so so good. I also got a horchata to go and that was delicious as well!! I can’t wait to go back to my new favorite restaurant.
